Beautiful San Idelfonso Ixtlahuaca huipil. These are among my favorites and this is such a beautiful example. The base is a thick and buttery rayon called 'aleman' which is prized for its drape. The embroidery is impeccably executed with cotton embroidery floss. Great colors, design and texture! This fine huipil is in very good condition.

This has a very supple and luxurious drape- a pleasure to wear.

These are great year round. In the winter I wear them over a light sweater and they are super cozy.
